As a molecular disease ecologist I bridge between molecular and landscape scales to answer complex questions:
- How landscape variations (and anthropogenic perturbations thereof) shape community composition and structure to influence the dynamics of infectious diseases in wildlife populations.
- How diseases affects natural populations including population dynamics and evolutionary impacts.
My research relies heavily on methods from landscape genetics, population dynamic and epidemiological modeling, and spatial analysis.
